India Vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20: The third T-20 match between India and Sri Lanka was played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot. Where India won the toss and decided to bat first. After the dismissal of Ishaan Kishan Rahul Tripathi, who came to bat, opened his hands and scored 53 runs at the loss of 2 wickets till the end of the power play. In the last over of the power play, Rahul Tripathi was caught out at short third man after hitting 2 sixes in 2 consecutive balls. The same Shubman Gill opened his account on the 10th ball. And in the 15th over, after scoring 46 runs in 36 balls, he became the victim of Hasaranga. After this Surya Kumar Yadav’s stormy century came and India made a huge score of 228 runs and Sri Lanka got 229 runs to win. Surya Kumar Yadav played an unbeaten inning of 112* in 51 balls with the help of 7 fours and 9 massive sixes.

Sri Lanka came out to chase a huge score of 229 runs and lost the wicket on the very first ball but DRS review saved it. Sri Lanka, however, got off to a good start in the powerplay, scoring 51 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 6 overs. Sri Lanka tried to maintain the run rate till the 10th over but had lost 4 wickets for 91 runs. And no partnership could be formed on time, none of the Sri Lankan batsmen could even cross the mark of 50 and Sri Lanka could not play even 20 overs and got limited to 137 runs in 16.4 overs. Arshdeep Singh took the last wicket for India.

Surya Kumar Yadav Hundred: Let us tell you that in today’s match, Surya Kumar Yadav made the third 100 of his T-20 International career in which he faced only 45 balls. Surya scored a total of 112 runs in which he faced 51 balls. Surya hit 7 fours and 9 sky-high sixes in this innings. Also completed the fastest 1500 runs in T-20 International career.
Along with scoring the third (100) century, he broke the record of “KL Rahul” who had earlier 2 T20 centuries (100). Surya looked very happy after scoring 100.
