Total 5 teams will participate in lanka premier league and in this total 24 matches will be played which will start from 6 th december till 23rd december. Former sri lanka opener Sanath Jayasurya, former pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram and former west indies batsman Viv Richards have been made brand ambassadors of the third edition of lanka premier league 2022.
