Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Admitted to AIIMS
According to official sources, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has been admitted to AIIMS due to overcrowding and dehydration. India’s Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital in New Delhi on Monday. The Finance Minister has been admitted to a private ward of the hospital at around 12 noon. According to government sources, Nirmala Sitharaman has been admitted for checkup, apart from this, she is also told to complain of stomach infection and dehydration. The special thing is that India is going to present the general budget in February, due to which Sitharaman’s continuous meeting with the business world continued. The 63-year-old Union Finance Minister has been admitted to the private ward of AIIMS, although no information about her health has been shared by the ministry or the hospital management so far. Be it the carpet session of the Parliament or her meeting with the businessmen, she was very active in all of them.
Sitharaman was involved in a function in Tamil Nadu
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman attended the 35th convocation of Dr. MGR Medical University (Dr. Maruthur Gopalan Ramachandran Medical University) in Tamil Nadu on last Saturday, named after the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. On this occasion, while admitting the students of the university, he encouraged them and also talked about how the country can be saved from the virus like Covid. Nirmala Sitharaman said “I am saying this in front of the health minister here in Tamil Nadu. There is definitely a need to strengthen medical education and I think this goal can be achieved if medical education is taught in Tamil language may solved”.
